Elegant Weddings at Ashton Lodge: A Timeless Celebration in the Garden Room

This Edwardian house offers timeless elegance for the happy couple to get married. The late summer/early Autumn warmth and sunshine blessed the invited guests and illuminated the delightful gardens with its variety of planting and lavender lined pathways.

The elegant house offered the ideal setting for the bridal party to prepare for the big moment. With croissants at the ready and a few glasses of fizz, the bridal preparation room became a hive of activity, laughter, and emotion! It is always a delight to be able to capture the moment Dad sees his Daughter in her full wedding attire, and this was no different. It was a truly joyous moment.

Guests had mingled on the terrace and within the warmth of the sun, before heading into the tranquil and relaxing Garden Room ready for the ceremony. This peaceful, understated but elegant room was the perfect place for James and Sophie to wed. Light cascaded into the room, filling it with warmth and happiness. A perfect complement to the day itself.

Following a ceremonial walk through a shower of petals, it was on to the sun-kissed terrace for a few drinks and to enjoy the guitarist playing as guests mingled.

The reception was held in the marquee, which exuded the same celebratory charm as the main house. A wonderful space for a celebration, adorned with bridal flowers. With views out across the gardens, a mood of happiness, satisfaction and joy enveloped all.

The guests certainly knew how to enjoy themselves as the evening drew near, returning from a few more drinks on the patio to conquer the chequerboard dance floor and some tasty tunes! As the assembled party took to the dance floor, the DJ spun the tunes and a sense of togetherness was obvious to see.

The day had been a great success, a combination of love, support, and unity. A perfect day in a perfect setting, one of Warwickshire’s absolute gems. Congratulations James and Sophie.
