Bourton Hall
Mr & Mrs Bradbury
- Bourton Hall, Warwickshire
There are few places that can stir passions, delight the senses and generally amaze and impress in equal measure as Bourton Hall in the stunning countryside of Warwickshire. When Rhiannon and Sam told me this was where they planned to wed, I couldn’t wait! Not just because I knew they would adore the day in this stunning 18th Century Italian Renaissance-style Country Mansion, but because I was going to share in their truly special day.
A Sun-Filled Summer Wedding at Bourton Hall in Warwickshire
What a day it was! The warmth of early Summer was on hand to ensure that the day’s proceedings were bathed in sunshine. As the string quartet played, guests mingled on the patio and across the impressively immaculate lawns, as the delighted chatter of friends and family filled the air in anticipation before the ceremony in the impressive panelled former chapel. Sam was suitably nervous as the moment approached as Rhiannon arrived and walked towards him down the aisle. Her father looked beyond proud as the soon to be newlyweds took position.
A room full of love is always a spectacular thing to witness and be part of, and this was no exception. The room was filled with love and support as Rhiannon and Sam quietly but excitedly exchanged their vows and became Mr and Mrs Bradbury. The wedding party headed outdoors, into the radiant sunshine, as confetti was tossed high above the married couple, as they walked amongst their guests, gazing into each other’s eyes.
The banqueting hall was quite the sight to behold, resplendent in gold and green punctuated with tasteful floral arrangements. Sunlight streamed across polished floors, the delicate floral arrangements and the assembled guests, illuminating the beauty of the room and the majesty of the occasion. The speeches shared many smiles, memories and laughs as the guests relaxed further and began to enjoy their meals and the prospect of a night’s entertainment to come.
The Great Hall: A Stunning Setting for a First Dance
The first dance is always a magical moment. A moment to put aside nerves and just be in a special moment together. At Bourton Hall, the setting could not be any more majestic. The Great Hall with its glorious wooden floor, is framed against the grand staircase, sweeping up behind the hall. With guests lining the staircase, eager to see the dance below, Rhiannon and Sam took to the floor against large, illuminated signs spelling out LOVE. As confetti cascaded down, the couple danced together, Sam dipping Rhiannon for a special moment and a tender kiss. Guests were ecstatic as they danced their first as a married couple.
Soon it was time for the couple to take their leave as they headed off together in a beautiful red sports car, tin cans attached to the bumper with specialised numberplates to complete the scene! Their guests were left to enjoy the evening’s entertainment, and as they danced the night away, they all reflected on a truly special and romantic day.
