Tommy James Wedding Photographer is based in Warwickshire but happily travels all over the West Midlands.

Now, let’s be honest, when people think of stunning countryside venues and views they don’t immediately think of the West Midlands, do they? Well… they’re missing a trick!

Put it simply, we have some of the best wedding venues to be found anywhere in the country. Whether in hugely historic centres like Coventry, Warwick or Worcester or in the world-class, stunning countryside of Warwickshire, Staffordshire and Herefordshire – there’s something for everyone.

I live here, so maybe I am biased, but when history and beauty go hand in hand so effortlessly – it’s hard not to gasp in awe. Each county offers something special, and the West Midlands region overall is near impossible to beat!

West Midlands Wedding Venues

Bourton Hall, Warwickshire

Bourton Hall – A striking 18th Century Italian Renaissance-style country mansion set in 15 acres of immaculate lawns, woodland, and Warwickshire countryside.

As well as the stylish and impressive hall itself, there is a former Catholic Chapel onsite too, ensuring that everything you need is right at the heart of this impressive venue. Tiffany and Joe had a wonderful celebration at Bourton Hall.

Mill Barns, Shropshire

With its soaring timber arches, the vaulted cathedral like interiors, ornamental ponds and water features that surround the venue – the Mill Barns ensures that there is a stunning view in every direction! Eleni and Ryan picked this magical location and it was perfect for their fun and fabulous wedding.

Brinsop Court, Herefordshire

It’s not every day that you get the opportunity to marry in a 14th Century Manor House which is surrounded by its own moat! Yet at Herefordshire’s Brinsop Manor that’s exactly what you can do!

Situated in 800 acres of idyllic West Midlands countryside, the venue also has a traditionally built oak barn in which to have an extremely special day.

Dodford Manor, Northamptonshire

Set in rural Northamptonshire, Dodford Mano offers a fantastic combination of countryside chic blended seamlessly with the warmth of Northamptonshire’s honey stone. Beautiful, beamed barns with towering windows look out over gorgeous and immaculate courtyards and off out to over acres of Northamptonshire countryside.

When Sophie and Ben said that they were going to get married at Dodford Manor, I knew they wouldn’t be disappointed!

Coombe Abbey, Warwickshire

Coombe Abbey Hotel bills itself as no ordinary hotel. They’re not wrong! Set in 500 acres of stunning Warwickshire countryside, this majestic 12th Century has a moat, ornamental gardens, intimate spaces, and views by the dozen. Does a venue have it all? This one might just qualify!
